[Tsubaki] Japanese camellia blooms from December to April2014.03.07

Tsubaki is a Japanese camellia. Its season is from December (the earliest) to April (the latest). A lot of places are held the Tsubaki festivals during that time. The one of the most famous spots is in Kawaguchi city in Saitama prefecture. They have 400 kinds of Tsubaki and over 2000 kinds of plants have been exhibited. Tsubaki has various colors, shapes, and sizes. It also has been loved by the Japanese for a long time. Some Tsubaki were planted in the Muromachi era (1336-1573).
