The Kuri-kinton is mashed sweet potatoes with sweetened chestnuts and a high-quality Japanese sweet.
It is made by adding sugar to chestnuts and steaming it. Its form has a shape of the chestnut. It is delicious with moderate sweetness. Gifu is the birthplace, but even Japanese-style confectionary stores of various parts of Japan is made now.
