Nagashi somen (flowing noodles) is usually eaten in summer and used a long flume of bamboo to carry noodles with cold water. People use chopsticks to pluck somen as much as they can and dip them into men-tsuyu (sauce for noodles). You put eggs, cucumbers, sesame as toppings. Nagashi-somen is usually held at a summer event for fun such as at school, festivals, and company.
I recommend you to try Nagashi somen with your friends for fun or join the event to enjoy the environment.
