“Kado”, the Japanese-style Flower arrangement, is one of the traditional arts of Japan.

Kado artists uses various plants, such as not only flowers but also branches ,trunks, leaves, and even the moss as the materials of flower arrangement.The origin of “Kado” is said that ancient monk had been placed flowers in front of the Buddha statue for offering in the sixth century.In nowadays, philosophy of “Kado” is a little bit complicated.The purpose of “Kado” is “express three elements of the world in a good balance, such as the space, the earth, and human beings with natural materials”.There are many Flower arrangement styles and techniques according their clan.
