Kohaku Namasu is a dish of Japanese radish and carrot seasoned in vinegar.
How to make is as follows. You make Japanese radish and carrot extremely thin fine strips approximately 5cm in length and cover Japanese radish and the carrot which you cut with salt and squeeze it firmly and take the moisture. Finally, you season it with vinegar and sugar.
It is contained in New Year dishes, and Japanese eat well for New Year holidays.
