Akagi Jinja is a shrine which is located in Maebashi city, Gunma prefecture. It is next to Akagi-yama (Mount Akagi). Therefore, it is called Akagi Jinja. There are three buildings to see. Honden, Kyuden, and Nakamon. All three are defined by Gunma prefecture’s Law for the Protection of Cultural Properties. There are also Tawara-sugi (three big Japanese cedars), Jindai-mojinohi (monument in old Japanese letters), Sando (paths of pines to a shrine), and so on.
