[Miyazaki] “Amano-Iwato” , the legendary cave in Japanese myth2013.05.28

“Amano-Iwato” is the legendary cave in Miyazaki prefecture.

In the ancient Japanese God World, a deity “Susanoo” had been conducted outrageous behavior, which made major deity “Amaterasu-Omikami”  angry and she hided herself into “Amano-Iwato”. Because she is a goddess of sun, the world became surrounded by darkness. As a result, many disasters happened in heaven and earth. All the gods and goddesses began a conference and tried and failed in order to make her come out. Finally, the gods and goddesses held a party in front of “Amano-Iwato”. As she didn’t understand the reason, she glanced at her face through just a little opened door. At this moment, a strong god brought her out.

Then, the world won back peace and daylight.
