“Kurama-dera” is Japanese Buddhism temple which located in Sakyo city, Kyoto prefecture.
This temple was built in 770 on the Kurama Mountain. There is an abundance of nature around “Kurama-dera”. The famous episode is that “Ushiwaka-maru” who was legendary samurai trained there in his youth. If you would like to visit this Japanese architecture, cable car running above “Kurama-yama” is recommended. You will enjoy the mountain view of Kyoto and it takes two minutes to reach “Kurama-dera” from Kuramadera station. Kurama-dera is located at the edge of Kyoto and so you can enjoy magnificent view surrounding the temple.
