Furisode is one of the most famous style of Japanese Kimono.
Significant feature is its long dangled sleeves. Long sleeves looks so gorgeous and elegant.
Originally, it was only for girls of under age.
In recent years the rule is modified, so only unmarried women can wear Furisode.
(The rule is not the strict one of course, it is a kind of unwritten law.)
It is also a full dress style of Kimono for unmarried women.
Unmarried women frequently wear Furisode on the coming-of-age ceremony and the wedding reception.
